Know before you go - Event information

What is the SaaStr Annual?

The 9th SaaStr Annual is the largest non-vendor SaaS gathering in the world, uniting the global B2B SaaS and Cloud community both online and off. We want to help everyone scale faster and with less stress and more success!

In 2023, over 10,000+ attendees including Founders, Senior Executives, and Cloud VCs will come together over three action-packed days of high-quality networking, learning from those who’ve done it, and of course, networking, happy hours, and plenty of fun.

Where is SaaStr Annual 2023 being held?

The '23 Annual will take place at the 40-acre SAN MATEO COUNTY EVENT CENTER, 2650 S Delaware St, San Mateo, CA 94403, approximately 20-30 minutes from San Francisco.  You can also take the Caltrain from downtown San Francisco/ or anyone in the Bay Area really.  We do recommend out-of-towners stay wherever they are most comfortable. There will be a dedicated Uber/Lyft/ rideshare drop-off at Annual to make getting in and out easy for those staying in SF proper or in the peninsula.

Note that most of SaaStr Annual will again be outside this year!

About 90% of Annual will be outside this year, to promote a safer, more comfortable gathering for our expected number of in-person attendees. There will be tons of elbow room, with the stages, sponsors, networking areas and more spread out across 40+ acres outside at the San Mateo County Event Center. Dress appropriately, it will be warm in the afternoons but can get a bit chillier in the evenings. Bring a sweater or jacket for the end of the day.

Networking

BOOK A BRAINDATE— 1:1 AND SMALL GROUP NETWORKING SESSIONS

The Braindates Networking Platform is Now Open!  Here's everything you need to know about Braindates at SaaStr Annual this year:

1. Braindates are designated into 3 group sizes: 1:1's, 1:4s Small Groups, and 1:20s Super Braindates. No matter the size of the group, each Braindate is designed for you to share knowledge and network with fellow leaders during SaaStr Annual. The goal is to help each other learn something new, find mentorships, create partnerships and exchange strategies.

2. There are two ways to participate in Braindates: First, you can join an existing Braindate on a topic that catches your attention. Or, you can create your own Braindate topic and allow other attendees to sign up and learn from you.

3. Braindates topics are moderated - meaning it goes to our speaker team for approvals before it's shown to all attendees. Everything has to be from a strict thought leadership perspective. We do not accept topics that are commercial or salesy.

4. Creating a braindate does not guarantee attendance. Your topic has to be good! Timely, thought-leadership topics often perform the best.

5. We have designated braindate power hour Wednesday Sept 6th 10-11AM to kickstart networking and mentorship! Make sure you sign up or create 1-2 braindates during this time.

To get started, login to Braindate with the email you bought your ticket with and create a password. You'll then notice the topic marketplace where you can post what you want to share or learn. We've already added a few Super Braindates and topics to the platform that you can join!

We'll have a huge Braindate Networking Lounge in Hanger West. You'll meet up for your Braindate on-site at the Braindate Networking Lounge!
